<div> “Gathering Places” is a 5 week class and sermon series that will examine Peter’s First Epistle for the doctrinal and practical truths for Christian gatherings for fellowship, worship, and discipleship. This class will further help prepare students for “A Family for Everyone” Year 3 focused on the ELC Vision segment, “Creating Gathering Places for Our Neighbors.” Facilitator - Pastor Mark Carlson. </div>

<div> As Christians one would think we would be exempt from worry. But we are not. We’ve been taught that Christian life is a life of peace, and when we don’t have peace, we assume the problem lies within us. Not only do we feel anxious, but we also feel guilty about our anxiety! In this study based on Max Lucado’s “Anxious for Nothing” examination of Philippians 4:4-8, we will think through St. Paul’s admonitions in these verses of what it means and how it works to let go of fears and anxieties to live moment by moment trusting in Jesus. </div>

Rejoice with us in the alternative to "American Christianity" which resides in humble churches with humble people and pastors whose treasure is the pure Word of God, Law and Gospel, and the Sacraments. The class will be facilitated by Chris and Kim Merritt. </div>
